Intelius now offers a premium suite of products and services ranging from background checks to identity protection, giving people intelligent information that empowers them to make sound choices. However, Intelius would not be in the stature it holds right now if not for the person who runs it — Naveen Jain. Friends and close peers of Naveen Jain would best describe him as a “fireball of energy,” whose dynamic personality echoes a positive mood inside a room. Such is his determination that it has propelled him to attain his career goals and share his blessings to the community. Prior to founding Intelius, Naveen Jain founded InfoSpace in 1996. The firm’s operations involved developing technology as well as software and application services to ensure the retention of visitors on the Websites of their clients. Jain explained that InfoSpace was not created to compete with other portals such as AOL, MSN, and Lycos; instead, the firm serves as partners to these portals, providing them the technology to improve their existing products. Before creating InfoSpace, Jain worked at Microsoft Corporation for seven years. Jain completed his undergraduate degree in engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and his postgraduate course in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations at the XLRI Jamshedpur, School of Business and Human Resources. Moreover, Naveen Jain is a generous contributor to local and international nonprofit organizations dedicated to education, family services, youth, and healthcare.
