The day I started noticing my receding hairline and bald spot becoming bigger, I embarked on my hair loss treatment journey. Me and my family didn’t think the beautiful and confident Nancy Sinclair, my high school BFF, could ever accessorize with wigs. Her signature hair and fashion flowed in sync with her personality. Have you seen her lately? The one and only remains recognized because of her attitude. Very few think to notice that she utilizes synthetic wigs. They look that good.
When we were youths finding our way in our home town of Scottsdale, we regularly had our picks of boys. Five years later, her alopecia took its toll and she went bald. Attending her fiance’s roller hockey tournament, we flirted with the crowd till a numbskull retardedly kicked the little ball (or whichever thing that is) towards the fans. Such a sport, she tried to get it and her bandana fell off, revealing her thinning hair. Like nothing happened, she tossed the ball to her man. She’s that kind of girl.
However, who can be invincible at all times? One time she invited me over for a stroll to the art gallery, the day she grabbed my arm and said that she prefers to go bald out of anger. She missed her natural hair too much to look at medical wigs, despite the fact that she wanted her hair back. She then our fearless protagonist turned flush red and begged that I dismiss the notion. I had to oblige.
I thought about it all night. Shortly after, I asked her about settling the wig issue. After a long deliberation the two of us arrived at an agreement: lace front wigs for all! We have a knack for making online wig shopping fun.
The both of us were stunned by the wide selection of hair colors, textures and styles. She never knew that lace front wigs could be so professionally crafted for beautiful people and famous actors. These lace front wigs were exactly what she needed. I built a comprehensively creative ensemble to match my wig. We’re inseparable, but you knew that already. The other day she sent me her thanks for her wig, and confessed it brought about a new attitude for many occasions. It’s a relief to witness her reclaim her beauty. I’m right there with her.

For one, Nobody can say I’m exactly happy being bored with most men (who isn’t?) and not crack a smile. But, I’m not unsatisfied with the reality of life, either. I merely suggest it in this blog as a delicious piece of info setting up the story I am about to explain in grand style.
A week ago today I was walking the dog, Sandy, considering buying a membership to the Phoenix Great Expectations dating service. As of this minute, I write to each of you as a delightfully single member of the dating service. For real, and I almost don’t believe it myself! Its very comfortable and full of nice people! If you’ve been paying attention, perhaps you’re thinkin’, “Stop blabbering and tell me about it already.”
Here’s how it went down, I noticed these Great Expectations Reviews and felt encouraged. They’re for quality and professional singles who think dating should mean something.
Quite frankly, I’d never been a fan of whatever it is that my friends and my family call “dating.” I got it more than you know. Day and night people pester, “Are you two serious yet?” and “Oh I know just the guy for you!”
“Nonsense,” I reply, without missing a beat. “Take a look around, I’m not missing much.”
“Don’t be silly,” they deadpan. “How would you know, you haven’t seen Friday Night Magic in a year!”

Coming home to the point of this blog entry. As I selected from more than three hundred quality singles for my first Great Expectations date, a revelation hit me true. Over the last year, I hadn’t entertained any figurative great expectations for dating and myself in the serendipitous path of this world. It’s good to be single, especially when you get out there and have fun. Embracing your own great expectations works terrifically in dating.

The fact that we exist means that we regularly have to get the better of life’s obstructions. It seems that the more we evolve with technology and means to evolve things more quickly, the more panic attacks increase. We should examine this further. Some might assume that advancement in technology would lead to easing stress. Yet, anxiousness and depressive disorder appear worsened now than when compared to the past. I guess it’s possible that in the past, it was not mannerly to discuss these topics. These days are different, we now talk about it openly. Truth is, if you’ve ever spent an afternoon in front of the TV, I’m sure you’ve witnessed some sort of ad for a medicine, which provides panic attacks treatment.
These issues are rising to the surface and being talked about openly. It might be simply public place aversion or trouble sleeping, scientists are always developing revolutionary ways to fix it. Anxiety and depression are for certain at the top of this long list. When I think about depression, I think of someone who has recently lost a loved one or an individual who is afflicted in such a way that prevents them from carrying on normally. This is not necessarily accurate. We are surrounded by people that are pummeled by the burden of panic attacks and depression for other reasons. Some of which are not even identified. You may wonder if it concerns the food we eat. For some reason or another, people seem to have troubles with remaining content.
A topic that touches me, is teenagers. Anxiety and depressive disorder seems to be striking them more than others these days. Acknowledged, being a teen is challenging in some areas, and unbelievably easy in others. Some teens may claim that it is all distressing. Even I was a teen before. We certainly know much of what they are going through. However, I can never recall being depressed. Who knows what has happened in the last ten years. Depressive Disorder should not be a part of childhood. As a matter of fact, anxiety attacks and depressive disorder should be much less frequent than it is altogether.

It’s been said that knowledge is power. While that’s true to an extent, it isn’t the whole truth. Knowledge without action is almost useless. It doesn’t help to be a genius if you never do anything with the knowledge. I tend to think of knowledge as ammunition and action as a gun. (It’s a typical guy thought, I know but it works for me.) Think about it. If you have bullets and no gun, they’re pretty much useless. If you have a gun and no bullets, the best you can do is throw (action) the gun at the target. Not as useless as the bullets (knowledge) since action without knowledge is more productive than knowledge without action
The reason I’ve been thinking about this lately is that I’ve been reading article after article about how to make money, get high search engine ranking, find customers & prospects, motivate myself and others and several other subjects and realized that regardless of how much info I’ve gained, it’s worthless if I don’t act on the knowledge. And it’s the same for everyone. It wouldn’t matter if you had a PhD in Quantum Physics if you worked at McDonalds, or a library full of books and never used the knowledge within, now would it? I’ve met some really intelligent homeless people and some stupid millionaires and the biggest difference is action. Let me say this again, ACTION. Action makes people successful to a certain degree. Not to say that any action will make people successful. Jumping up and down or changing channels will not do it, but action of any kind that propels you toward your target goal will get you there eventually.
Another way to think of it is like having a map. I could give you a map to a lost treasure, but if you never left your house, it wouldn’t do much good would it?
So here’s a question; what action will you do today, to reach your goal? Reading a book will only take you so far.
